The use of white pomegranate extract as a bleaching material for hardness, roughness, and calcium levels in the enamel tooth

Background: Bleaching is the procedure of re-whitening teeth that have darkened to a shade near their natural hue. Due unfavorable impact chemical bleaching materials on enamel demineralization, quest for solutions same whitening effect while minimizing negative consequences encouraged. The punica granatum fruit one components can be employed. Purpose: This study aims analyze application white pomegranate extract as an external bleach physical properties surface tooth. Methods: thirty post-extraction bovine were divided into treatment and control groups, then hardness was measured using Micro Vickers Hardness Tester, roughness Surface Roughness test, calcium levels EDS SEM tool before which performed 2 hours day two weeks.
